I have lovely memories of us as kids practicing doing plays in the front room around Christmas time and doing them for you all in the living room.
Looking at all his collections.
Eton's Christmas parties and meeting father Christmas.
Grandad getting on the bouncy castle with us at birthday parties.
The pies cut into fours.
Sandy the dog ❣️❣️❣️❣️
Mustard pot💔
The way he was never afraid to tell us he loved us all and how he would tell me about how proud he was of everyone and why.
And the "have a drink on me" cards at Christmas and birthdays. Emma

My Grandad Brian. Always so happy to see you, he made you feel like the most important person in the world. Greeted with a ‘Hiya mustard pot’ and a beaming smile.
He would sit and watch our Christmas shows and my awful flute recitals without wincing once! And I remember him searching high and low for a pogo stick that I insisted on for Christmas, and spending his spare time making a broomstick for my Halloween costume.
When Jonah was born he was a proud Great Grandad and the title of mustard pot was passed on.
He loved to show off his bikes and for me the thrill of being allowed to sit on them and play pretend was a treat unrivaled.
Memories of a house filled with treasure that he would let you play with and tell you all about with such enthusiasm and detail you couldn’t helped but be engaged.
We laughed as adults about his hoarding ways, but each item held a meaning to him that he couldn’t let go of. This extended to our childhood drawings and artwork. He was so proud of his grandchildren and I felt that every time I went in the house and saw a candle I had made for him aged 8, never used and faded over time.
We are so lucky to have had him for so long and I will hoard those treasured memories forever. Lucy x

You will be missed Grandad. I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with you over the years and will always remember riding on your motorbike with you and playing with your cars. Rest in peace
